The Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra admitted to the Polish Philharmonic Association

The Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra has been admitted to the group of 33 members of the Polish Philharmonic Association, which includes the most important music institutions in Poland.

The Association represents and promotes the interests of the philharmonics and orchestras before state administration bodies and local government units, as well as other organisations, both at home and abroad. The Association pursues its objectives through participation in legislative and decision-making processes of national and international bodies, including the European Union; it issues opinions on issues related to the cultural sector: it gives opinions on the programmes of the Institute of Music and Dance, participates in the activities of the Council for Artistic Institutions attached to the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. It analyses and proposes solutions to legal problems related to cultural activities. It organises its own meetings and conferences, and cooperates with the artistic community by co-organising concerts, meetings and training sessions on issues related to culture management. It lobbies for changes in the law beneficial for the cultural sector.
The Polish Philharmonic Association is a member of PEARLE, a prestigious international organisation based in Brussels, an official consultant of the European Commission, representing the interests of more than 5,000 performing arts organisations from all over Europe to the European Union and other international law bodies.
