Polish Orchestra Sinfonia Iuventus in cooperation with the Stocznia Research and Social Innovation Centre Foundation has completed the first Research into Professional Careers of Polish Orchestra Sinfonia Iuventus Musicians.

The aim of the project was to obtain information on the role that Sinfonia Iuventus played in the process of shaping musical careers of the orchestra members, and to show new directions that our artistic institution can take to modify its programme objectives.

The research comprised two stages.

The first stage consisted in organising a focus group interview (FGI) which was conducted with randomly selected musicians employed by the orchestra between 2008 and 2016.
The second stage was a computer assisted Web interview (CAWI). At that stage, all musicians employed by the orchestra between 2008 and 2016 were asked to complete a questionnaire.
