SINFONIA IUVENTUS WILL PERFORM AT THE INAUGURATION OF THE POLISH HISTORY MUSEUM’S NEW BUILDING

x

One of the most anticipated events of 2023 will be the opening of the Polish History Museum in Warsaw’s Citadel. The museum’s auditorium hall (designed ca. 580 seats) will become a new, significant spot on the cultural map of the capital and the main and regular concert venue for Jerzy Semkow’s Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra, which will perform there during the inaugural concert on 28 September.

In the first part, we will hear Fryderyk Chopin’s preludes, mazurkas, ballades, scherzos and nocturnes performed by pianists Janusz Olejniczak and Tomasz Ritter. The second part will feature an extraordinary performance of Krzysztof Penderecki’s Polish Requiem by the Cracow Philharmonic Choir and our Orchestra conducted by Kirill Karabits.
