During the concert in September 10, 2022 at the Concert Studio of the Witold Lutosławski Polish Radio, a special ceremony took place. Maestro Mirosław Jacek Błaszczyk was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta for outstanding achievements in the artistic activity and for promoting the Polish culture abroad. On behalf of the President of the Republic of Poland, the decoration was presented by the Director General of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Jarosław Czuba.

Prof. Mirosław Jacek Błaszczyk, currently the artistic director and the first conductor of the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic – European Art Center in Białystok, he also served as the artistic director of the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra in 2017-2018. Today he is a member of the Artistic Council of Jerzy Semkow Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra.

Jerzy Semkow Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the institution, requested to reward Maestro Mirosław Jacek Błaszczyk.
