The 2nd Charity Concert of the “Big Artists to Small Patients”

Opera music is coming back to resound at the 2nd Charity Concert of the ‘Big Artists to Small Patients” cycle! The stars of the show will be Aleksandra Kurzak, the world’s best-known Polish soprano, and Roberto Algana, a tenor adored by music lovers at the largest opera houses around the globe. The concert will take place on 18 November at Warsaw’s Senator office building. ‘Big Artists to Small Patients’ – tickets for the charity concert now on sale!

The masters of the opera will be accompanied by the Jerzy Semkow Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra under the baton of Ruben Silva. All artists will perform for free. Likewise, the premises, lighting, stage and printed materials will all be provided free of charge.

The eminent artists contribute their great talents and emotions to a charitable project for the Children’s Memorial Health Institute.

All proceeds from tickets will be donated to the relocation and upgrade of what is truly the heart of the hospital: its blood bank. For the past 40 years, the Institute’s serology lab has been located at a distance of 700 metres from its operating theatre. In February, thanks to the concert’s audience, it will be housed on new innovative premises just 50 meters away from the operating rooms!

Like the previous event, the concert will be organised by Patrycja Piekutowska, a violinist who this time contributes as a full-time president of the K.I.D.S. Children Hospital Innovators’ Club.

The repertoire includes several of the most beautiful arias for soprano and tenor. With a number of famous opera duets also on the program, the performance by artists of this rank is a guarantee of unforgettable experience! Another piece, Ravel’s Boléro, serves as a common denominator for all concerts in the cycle.
