Sinfonia Iuventus will perform during the finals of the “Young Musician of the Year 2022” competition

The Jerzy Semkow Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra will accompany of the best instrumentalists during the “Young Musician of the Year” Competition Finals. The concert will take place on 2 May this year at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw.
The winner of the contest will represent Poland at the Eurovision Young Musicians Competition, which will be held in Montpellier, France, this year.
“Young Musician of the Year” is a nationwide competition for the best young musician playing one of the classical instruments. The project aims to promote young talent – students of secondary music schools and at the same time encourages young people to improve their skills in playing an instrument. The competition consists of two stages: semi-final and final. The semi-finalists are selected by a selection committee based on the candidates’ previous artistic achievements.
Young musicians present in front of the Jury a six-minute program for solo instrument or with piano accompaniment. Then the Jury selects five best instrumentalists who, in the finals, present a piece accompanied by symphony orchestra.
