The fourteenth edition of the Jerzy Waldorff Summer Festival in Radziejowice is ahead of us. The Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra, together with outstanding artists, will perform there twice, on June 25 and 29, 2023.

On June 25, we will hear Martín García García – a Spanish pianist, winner of the 3rd prize at the 18th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition (2021). On the program: Robert Schumann – Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 54, Ludwig van Beethoven – Symphony No. 2 in D major op. 36. The concert will be conducted by Paweł Kos-Nowicki.

On June 29, performers will be: Vadim Brodski – Ukrainian violin virtuoso with Polish citizenship. Winner of the 7th International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition (1977), Aniello Desiderio – Italian virtuoso, classical guitarist and teacher, professor at the Conservatorio Domenico Cimarosa in Avellino. The program includes: Georges Bizet – Overture to the opera Carmen, Joaquin Rodrigo – Concierto de Aranjuez, Édouard Lalo – Spanish Symphony in D minor, Op. 21. The concert will be conducted by Mirosław Jacek Błaszczyk.

The concerts will be hosted by Jerzy Kisielewski.

Before the concerts, it is worth seeing the exhibitions accompanying the festival: Ignacy Jan Paderewski – organised in cooperation with the History Meeting House – an outdoor exhibition, “Famous and admired in Radziejowice” – an exhibition of photographs by Czesław Czapliński – the fireplace room of the New House of Art and “The history of the Chopin Competition in posters” – the concert hall of the New House of Art.
