Title of the album series Musica Sacromontana or Holy Mountain Music refers to the basilica and monastery of the Philippine Fathers on the Holy Mountain in Gostyn. In the eighteenth century it was an important centre of musical life, the place where Jozef Zeidler – one of the most eminent representatives of classicism in Polish music – had lived and worked. Missa Pastorita of his authorship is a composition dedicated to the Christmas period, where the author tastefully combines classic language of sounds with motifs drawn from folk music. The album also contains Sinfonia ex F preserved in Gostyn archives, composed by Anton Habla, a pioneer of the genre in Polish music, who was inspired by works of Jozef Haydn. /a description from the website www.dux.pl/
