Auditions Underway for the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra named after Jerzy Semkow
This marks the second recruitment of such a large scale aimed at young musicians in Poland since 2008.
This year’s call has attracted exceptional interest. Organizers received over 300 applications from instrumentalists across Poland as well as from abroad, significantly exceeding initial expectations.
The auditions are taking place from April 21 to 30, 2026, at the Orchestra’s headquarters in Warsaw. Candidates are competing for positions across a wide range of instrumental sections—from strings and winds to percussion.
For years, the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra named after Jerzy Semkow has remained an important platform for the development of young artists, offering them the opportunity to gain valuable orchestral experience at the highest level.
