4.07 | Sinfonia Iuventus in Toruń
Wirtuozeria i Wyobraźnia - Rossini / Mozart / Williams / Kilar
On 4 July, the Jerzy Semkow Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra performed at the Jordanki Culture and Congress Centre in Toruń during the concert ‘Virtuosity and Imagination – Rossini / Mozart / Williams / Kilar’, organised as part of the 30th Nova Music and Architecture International Festival. This was also the orchestra’s final touring concert of the 2025/2026 artistic season.
Under the baton of Wojciech Rodek, the orchestra took the audience on a musical journey ranging from classical masterpieces to iconic film compositions. A highlight of the evening was the performance by the outstanding violinist Krzysztof Jakowicz, who delighted the audience with his interpretation of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 5 in A major. The presence of the artist, who has been associated with the history of the Toruń festival since its very first edition, gave this event a special significance.
We would like to sincerely thank the Toruń Symphony Orchestra for inviting us to take part in this exceptional event. We would also like to thank all the music lovers present that evening at the Jordanki Cultural and Congress Centre for their warm welcome, their ovations and the musical emotions we shared together.
