“(…) The musicians of Sinfonia Iuventus, who have prepared their parts very well, with a visible pleasure “played” their roles which altogether built a multi-layer narration, constructed from several harmonic grounds. Jurowski “painted” the pastoral character of the entire symphony with soft lines, as if with delicate, yet firm strokes of a brush. This manner of playing Beethoven is nowadays extremely rare – without rush, entering inside the structure of the work, highlighting the rises and falls, increasing tensions and repose, the entire drama which makes up a music piece. A tremendously succinct conducting.”
