The artist is a managing and artistic director of Warmian-Masurian Philharmonic Orchestra of Feliks Nowowiejski in Olsztyn.

This year is the 70th anniversary of death of the composer, conductor and organist Feliks Nowowiejski (1877-1946). The composer of famous "Rota" was declared as the patron of year 2016 by resolution of the Sejm of Polish Republic. On this occasion Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra will recollect the works of this outstanding artist. For the start Overture to the opera "Baltic Legends", op. 28 will be presented. The world premiere of opera based on the pre-Slavic myth, took a place in Poznan, on 28th of November 1924. In his masterpiece Nowowiejski referred to the romantic tradition of Italian and German opera, introducing elements of Polish folklore, pra-Slavic legends, and successfully using archaic tools. The second work of Nowowiejski that will be conducted that evening, will be Praetorians’ March from the Oratorio "Quo Vadis", op. 30. The composer was inspired by his stay in Rome and reading of the extremely famous book by Henryk Sienkiewicz. First time conducted in 1907, the Oratorio became a hit at once – during next 20 years after it was written it was performed about 200 times.

Works of Feliks Nowowiejski will be composed along with the works of the greatest composer of the Czech national school – Antonín Dvořák (1841-1904). Firstly, Orchestra will perform Concert Overture "Carnival", op. 92. Disclosed in free form of sonata the overture describes a lonely wanderer observing the twilight of an amused city. The culmination of the evening will be the famous masterpiece of Dvořák, the IX Symphony in E minor "From the New World", op. 95. As suggests its title, the symphony was composed during the composer’s stay in the United States. Its melody contains not only spirit of Slavic music, but also inspiration of Indian and Afro-American music. A performance took place in 1893 in New York Carnegie Hall and resulted in a huge success.
