SINFONIA IUVENTUS WITH TSARINA OF THE PIANO IN MILAN!

We are very pleased to announce that the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra and Yulianna Avdeeva, a winner of the 16th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in 2010, will perform together on 1st July at the Festival Internazionale delle Orchestre Giovanili in Milan.

 

The young Russian called "Tsarina of the piano" is the fourth woman in the history, who won the Gold Medal in the Chopin Competition. The pianist has performed in major venues in New York, Vienna, London, Moscow and Tokyo, she has made many album, television and radio recordings. "Yulianna Avdeeva is an artist who can truly make the piano sing", wrote about her the prestigious magazine "Grammophone". The artist accompanied by the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra conducted by Maestro Tomasz Tokarczyk will play one of the most beautiful piano concertos in the history of music, that is the Piano Concerto No. 1 in E Minor, op. 11 by Fryderyk Chopin.

The Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Tokarczyk will also perform the overture to the opera The Barber of Seville by Gioacchino Rossini (version by Alberto Zedda) and the 7th Symphony in A Mayor, op. 92 by Ludwig van Beethoven, which was called by Richard Wagner "the Apotheosis of the Dance".

The concert will be held in the impressive UniCredit Pavilion, which was open a year ago.
