Scandinavian children know that trolls live in the mountains. In Norway there are lots of mountain ranges, caves and rocky places where one may meet fabulous creatures and experience many adventures. Sinfonia Iuventus Polish Orchestra conducted by Piotr Staniszewski invites the children to an encounter with the music of the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg and the protagonists of Henrik Ibsen’s play Peer Gynt. The young listeners will accompany Ibsen’s Peer (Peter) on a journey from exotic countries to the Far North, to meet the daughters of the Old Man of the Mountains, a troll king, and win the treasure of the trolls. /Malina Sarnowska/
